With events in the United States and Canada, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Pitney Bowes MapInfo Professional 9.5 software through live demos and question and answer sessions, according to the company. They will also be able to participate in a focus group with product managers to provide direction for future features and functions. MapInfo Professional 9.5 features support for more industry standards and a broader spectrum of CAD tools, improved data creation and editing, and greater programming language support compared to previous versions, according to Pitney Bowes. It also supports Oracle Database 11g and Microsoft SQL Server, and provides organizations with access to Open Geospatial Consortium's Web Feature Service.
